New Features in Google Ads Editor 2.7

1) AI-generated assets for asset groups

You will be able to add assets to your asset groups using final URL and free-form prompts to generate headlines, long headlines, and descriptions with A.I.

2) Video partners for Demand Gen campaigns

Demand Gen campaigns now allow for video partners.

‍

3) New customer acquisition goal

Now you will be able to set this new goal at the campaign-level for Search and Performance Max campaigns.

4) Account-level content label exclusions

You can now set account-level content label exclusions from Editor.

‍

You will find it in your Google Ads account > Tools > Content Suitability > Excluded sensitive content, Excluded types and labels, and Excluded content themes.

5) Account-level negative keywords

Editor now allows you to set account-level negative keywords, including excluded content keywords.

You will find it in your Google Ads account > Tools > Content Suitability > Excluded sensitive content, Excluded types and labels, and Excluded content themes.

6) New "inventory types" account-level setting

7) Fixed CPM bidding strategy

Fixed CPM bidding strategy, formerly Reserve cost-per-thousand impressions (CPM), is now supported on Video campaigns.

8) Reasons for paused keywords

Keywords that are automatically paused will show a status column with the reason why they were paused.

9) Export selected types to CSV

Now you can decide which types of data to export to CSV files.

10) Checkbox to β€œHide empty items"

‍

11) Video format preferences for Demand Gen Video ads

For each Demand Gen Video ad you can now set your format preference (In-stream, In-feed, Shorts, or any combination of the three). Setting it as "no preference" means it can serve anywhere.

1) Smart Shopping campaigns and ads

Google Ads Editor 2.7 does not support Smart Shopping campaigns and ads anymore.

2) Feed-based location assets

Google Ads Editor 2.7 does not support feed-based location assets anymore.

All accounts have been migrated to asset-based location assets.

3) Feed-based location groups

Google Ads Editor 2.7 does not support feed-based location groups anymore.

All accounts have been migrated to asset-based location group targeting.
