Responsive Search Ads (RSA)
Once the headlines and descriptions of your RSAs are completed, we must wait to see how each specific ad performs, something that you can check on the Google Ads interface.
For Responsive Search Ads (RSA) you can also see all the different combinations of assets. However you can't see the results of each of the combinations in order to find the winner and eliminate the low performers. That means that we must trust the intelligence of Google's algorithms that supposedly iterate and show the most relevant combinations.
At account level, Google shows a rating and the impressions that an asset got, plus how many ads are making use of that specific asset.
In our opinion, this data is not enough, since Google's rating does not mean much and, moreover , a text may perform very well in one ad while being disastrous in another. So eliminating it could improve some ads but worsen many others instead.
At ad level, Google also shows the performance of each asset but you will have to go ad by ad to get to see that info for all of your ads. You cannot see that info in bulk.
That's why at Dolnai we developed a tool to detect which have been the worst assets for each of your ads in bulk.
It is important to keep in mind that it is not enough to create an ad, but it is necessary to update the content, analyze its performance and optimize it. We try to make your RSA Ads Reporting much easier and smarter.
